Serene Birding on a Remote Island Paradise

French Island is simply one big hotspot for birds, or any aspect of nature! Be it seeing 16 echidnas in one day whilst traversing the island, having a stick insect on board as a hitch-hiker or viewing the resident Barn Owl at a chicory kiln, something always happens! Throw in heaps of Koalas, a chance of seeing a Long-nosed Potoroo, an Eastern Curlew, a White-bellied Sea-Eagle or a King Quail, French Island simply has the lot!  

Tour includes:

• Transport to Stony Point.

• Pick up point Boronia railway station at 8.00am

• Ferry to Tankerton. We catch the 10.00am ferry. (15 minutes)

• Tour on the Naturaliste Tours 4WD bus of remote parts of the island.

• Lunch at ‘Mandalaye Park’ on French Island

• Guaranteed Koala sightings, with possible Long-footed Potoroo.

• Return ferry back to the mainland. Ferry from Tankerton at 3.45pm

• Minimum 5 people

• Return to Boronia Railway station, about 5.15pm
