When the Forest Comes Alive After Dark

The extensive forests to the east of Melbourne are home to an extraordinary and vast array of nocturnal birds and mammals. From the highly cryptic and elusive Sooty Owl to the massive Greater Glider and everything in between, come along with us on our one of our nocturnal tours to see what we can find!

Some of the birds and mammals we could potentially see are:

  • Sooty Owl

  • Powerful Owl

  • Masked Owl

  • Boobook Owl

  • White-throated Nightjar

Nocturnal Mammals

  • Greater Glider

  • Yellow-bellied Glider
